About Me
At the age of eight, a six-year-old playmate taught me my first piano lesson. A week later, her mother gave me my first official lesson, and I was hooked. By high school, I knew I wanted to become a piano teacher myself, and I began teaching children from my local church at sixteen.
After earning a Bachelor of Music from James Madison University, I built an in-home piano studio. After a season raising and homeschooling my own six children, I returned to teaching full-time in April 2020, bringing my studio to Zoom so families everywhere could access high-quality piano instruction without leaving home.
Today, I love helping parents feel confident that their child is ready to begin, and helping kids discover a lifelong love of music.
